Hot Honey Chicken & Old Bay Waffles

Bring Baltimore flavor to breakfast-for-dinner with crispy chicken tenders, Old Bay seasoning, cheddar cheese, and a drizzle of hot honey.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Love & Cornbread Sunday Supper or Sweet & Spicy Cornbread Mix, prepared according to package directions with 1 cup milk, 2 eggs, and ½ cup oil
  • 2 tsp. Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 frozen chicken tenders, cooked
  • Hot honey

Directions

  1. Bake the chicken tenders according to the package directions and keep warm.
  2. Preheat the waffle iron to medium-high (about 75% heat).
  3. Stir the Old Bay into the prepared batter. Pour ½ cup batter onto the waffle iron and sprinkle with ¼ cup cheddar cheese. Cook about 5 minutes, or until golden brown.
  4. Top each waffle with chicken tenders and drizzle generously with hot honey.
